Get the most from Casa de l’Oli olive oils with these tips from our olive oil experts.
Extra virgin olive oil products from Casa de l’Oli are so versatile, it is easy to experiment and come up with something very tasty. For example:-
- Simply grill or toast thick slices of crusty bread, rub with garlic, or very ripe tomatoes, and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil.
- Toss hot or cold vegetables with two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, freshly ground black pepper, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
- Drizzle extra virgin olive oil on baked potatoes, and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, or chopped fresh herbs.
- For low calorie potato chips, cut unpeeled potatoes into thick slices and arrange them in one layer on a baking sheet. Lightly brush with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt, and bake in a preheated oven for 12 – 15 minutes until crisp.
- For fish dishes, baste with extra virgin olive oil and bake with herbs in foil, or shallow fry coated fish in olive oil for a crisp golden finish.
