     Title: December Pressed Olive Oil Arrives

The new Casa de l'Oli olive oil is here, pressed December 2008

First cold press in December 2008, this unfiltered olive oil is 'cold off the press' as we say. Our Casa de l'Oli extra virgin olive oil is pressed in a restored stone mill to give a delicious smooth oil. Unfiltered oil is cloudy, with a little sediment, but has more body and preserves all the different flavours of the olives. From grassy herbs, the sweet taste of apples and almonds, to spicy rocket and sorrel, our olive oil has amazing taste and aroma. 

Due to the poor weather in Spain, last autumn, the first harvest picked was the greenest it has ever been. The result is a young and fruity oil that tastes completely different from last year’s. So much so, that we feel we are going to have to over print on the label EARLY HARVEST’ as it really is a completely new oil. The later harvested oil will be marketed alongside.
