The very best extra virgin olive oil is quite simply the freshly pressed juice of the olive fruit with the olive water removed.
Over the past few years we have worked hard and learnt a great deal. We have steadily expanded our range of oils. From the humble beginnings of our first unfiltered oil, followed by our ‘Oak smoked’, and home-made vinaigrette dressing, to now include a selection of oils produced by pressing fresh Arbequina olives with fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs. The Arbequina olive is renowned for delivering extraordinary, smooth, nutty oil, and is perfect this purpose. These oils are quite delicious, full of flavour, and very individual.
Our full range can be viewed in our products list, but NEW for 2009 is the orange oil, green chilli, a little hotter than our red and wild herb. Thyme, Rosemary, Fennel, and Lavender were collected from our farm where they grow wild.
We continue to sell two other extra virgin olive oils from neighbouring estates, the Suner family have been producing a fragrant fruity oil since 1934, an award winner, and also an oil which is pressed from 100% Arbequina olives. A very delicate oil for those you prefer something lighter.
All these oils can be tasted at any event which we attend, from a local farmers market, to larger shows. I always make my own bread, so come along and ENJOY!
